Say Hello, Hallo, Bonjour, Nǐ Hǎo, Hola, or Kon’nichiwa to Multi-Language Filters
The language of gaming may be universal, but we know that not every language is. Today, we are introducing Multi-Language Filters for all users to help you find streams in the languages you speak.
When you’re browsing streams on a game directory page like League of Legends or Dota 2, you can now filter Live Channels by the Broadcast Language selected by the Streamer.
Now all you bi-lingual smartypants out there can finally stop switching your site-wide language settings to find all of the streams you’re interested in, and whether you speak one language or ten, if there’s a language you aren’t interested in seeing, you can filter it out!
We also added one more choice to our line-up of Broadcast Languages: American Sign Language (ASL). Streamers can now select ASL from the languages drop-down menu when they go live, and you can select ASL from your language filter to see any live ASL streams on the game directory.
As you start to use Multi-Language Filters, you might notice design updates here and there or that the filters look a little different on a friend’s account. These changes are based on what we learn about how you are using the feature. We are dedicated to making sure that Multi-Language Filters, along with other features like our Updated Search, help you find streams as quickly and easily as possible.
