The Road to TwitchCon 2016: Call for Content & First Featured Broadcasters
TwitchCon 2016 is now only six months away! That means it’s time to start sharing news and updates as we all head down the road to TwitchCon together. Just make sure to buckle your seat belts because we have a lot in store for you this year. Like what, you ask? Well, let’s start with…
Call for Content
Starting today, we are opening our official TwitchCon 2016 call for content. So if you have a great idea for a workshop, panel, or presentation, we want to hear from you! Just slide over to twitchcon.com where you can submit your awesome ideas. This year, Twitch Creative will have a much larger presence at the show with panels, an expanded gallery, and more planned. For all you creative types out there, this is a great chance to submit your ideas.
Last year, broadcasters, partners, fans, and Twitch employees all benefited from the incredible content submitted by the community. And this year, with more panel space and an additional day, we’re excited to offer an even more eclectic lineup of Twitch content to educate, entertain, and inspire attendees.
The call for content closes on May 8 at 9:00pm PT.
First Featured Broadcasters
Last year over 600 Partnered Broadcasters attended the inaugural TwitchCon in San Francisco including many featured broadcasters that participated in panels, gaming lab events, meet & greets, and more. This year, we’re moving the party to San Diego where even more Partners are joining us. Today we’re happy to announce the first group of twelve featured broadcasters scheduled to appear: summit1g, PhantomL0rd, Nightblue3, Trick2g, Swiftor, iijeriichoii, OMGitsfirefoxx, TimTheTatman, itsHafu, trihex, B0aty, and UFC champion/avid broadcaster Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson aka Mightymouseufc125.
Expect to see them taking on all comers in the Gaming Lab, providing guidance in the Education Zone, and meeting-&-greeting in Broadcaster Alley. Some may even be broadcasting a stream live from the show floor. Stay tuned as we announce more confirmed guests soon!
Tickets?
The wait for our first round of ticket sales is almost over, we promise. Tickets for TwitchCon 2016 and discounted hotel rates will be available to the public in April, with more details coming shortly!
